Large Animals
Smithers Animal Hospital-Lincoln provides dependable veterinary care to large animal owners in Lincoln, Prairie Grove, Farmington, Summers, and everywhere in between. We supply health care for most domestic large animal species such as horses, cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, and other farm animals. At our fully-equipped on-site large animal facility, we are able to conduct basic health exams, vaccinations, and blood testing. In addition to attending animals that are unwell due to sickness or disease, we provide wound care and treat lame or injured animals. Our experienced veterinarians also assist with pregnancy and problem births, and offer equine and cattle reproductive services, in addition to large animal surgeries such as castration.
We also offer large animal ambulatory services by appointment only. For our farm calls, we perform routine preventative care, diagnosis and treatment of sick animals, along with a variety of limited veterinary medical and surgical procedures.
